Falls are the leading cause of injury-related death among adults 65+ and the leading cause of lost workdays for direct care staff in residential settings. This compliance training equips direct care staff in Maryland DDA-Licensed Group Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Nursing Homes with the knowledge and skills to identify hazards, protect residents and themselves, and respond correctly when falls occur.

Regulatory Framework Covered: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.22, CMS Fall Prevention Requirements, COMAR 10.22, COMAR 10.07.14, and TJC NPSG.09.02.01.
