Under Title VI, Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, HHS CLAS Standards, and COMAR 10.22, every direct care professional serving individuals in DDA-licensed group homes and assisted living facilities must be equipped to deliver respectful, individualized, culturally responsive care.
