Ayo AkinOni, MPH is the Founder and CEO of Balanced Care Academy, a Maryland-based healthcare compliance training

and consulting organization dedicated to equipping

healthcare professionals, assisted living providers, DDA

group home operators, and care-based entrepreneurs with

the knowledge, systems, and confidence they need to operate responsibly and successfully.

With a Master's Degree in Public Health specializing in Health Promotion, and over 10 years of experience, Ayo has supported 500+ providers across Maryland through licensure, COMAR 10.22 compliance, policy development, and staff training — including the 80-Hour Assisted Living Manager Program.

But Ayo doesn't just help you start. She helps you build it, structure it, and sustain it. From navigating complex regulations to developing strong operational systems and filling beds through placement and referral support, she provides a complete pathway for providers who want to do this the right way.
